I try and meditate every day just for 10 minutes.  The Calm app is a big help for this with great content and guided meditations.

My top 5 tips to successfully start your day right are:

  1. Don't pick up your phone straight away to look at emails and social media;
  2. Write down just 3 things to do that day. You want to avoid overwhelm and punishing yourself if you don't get the things you wanted to done;
  3. Write down 5 things you are grateful for;
  4. Meditate for 10 minutes;
  5. Read/listen to a personal development book for 10 minutes.
